Jeff--Yesterday my eldest son and I made it down to the EAA fly-in at Arlington.

Many of the fly-ins had already left--I gather that the weather had not been good; but the folks selling "stuff" had hung in so we had a good time walking around and chatting.

I liked the conditions: coolish without much heavy duty sun.  The airshow was on a par with what I've come to expect at Arlington--just interesting enough to hold my attention.

Dinner at Manino's in Fairhaven on the way home was fabulous.

Didn't see you--but then I hadn't really expected to; but I wonder, at you still working at the maintenance shop across the runway from the fly-in group?

Ciao,

Doug

Doug:

Sorry we missed you, we pulled out of town the day the show (and the rain) started for a trip to Maine. I'll be retiring later this year but still call Arlington home. Talking to folks there about the airshow sounded kind of wet. ;D

Have a great retirement, Jeff.  I've been retired for ten years from my day job--now I just take consulting assignments from clients with whom it is fun and interesting to work.

Ciao,

Doug
