I currently carry my outdoor carpet rolled up and bungied to the rear bumper of my pop-up.  Was thinkng of trying to find a large enough diameter PVC pipe to store it in the same location but it would be out of the elements & extend the life of the carpet.  Has anyone done this, any input, or photos.  Thanks
 
Why not just seek out one of those polythene tube-bags that the retailers use to store their carpet rolls in. Or even make a long bag out of some waterproof/sunproof material.  We actually carry three rolls of ourdoor carpet but there is an "indoor" space which houses the slide mechanism that is perfect for them. Of course we originally selected the carpet size so it would fit for travel.
