Opinions on Sprinter vs. Chevy/Ford Vans

I've been looking at the van conversions of Road Trek and Great West.  I see that they and other companies have Class Bs based on the Sprinter diesel van.  Any opinions on the difference?  Reading the specs make it seem that there could be some difference in power.  Also, the Sprinter looks like an RV, where the other vans can kind of go in cognito.

The Sprinter has straighter sides making for a somewhat nicer layout. I may buy a Roadtrek RS this week.
