For those of you who may want to join us in Moab next year (2009), Jerry has made reservations for the two of us at the Portal RV Resort. We plan to arrive on April 26, 2009 and depart on April 30, 2009. We expect to be in Site M-19. This will give us several days to enjoy Moab prior to meeting the rest of the group at the Zion River RV Resort in Virgin UT where we expect to arrive on May 1, 2009. We left a full day between the two locations in order to have a comfortable drive from Moab to Virgin (330 miles).
The Portal RV Resort telephone number is 435-259-6108 (they no longer have an 800 number). Some of you were concerned about their cancellation policy. The following was copied from their Web Site:
CANCELLATIONS: Portal RV Resort requires 48 hour notice of cancellation. Major holidays, special events, or larger group bookings require 7 days notice of cancellation.
Please indicate in this thread if you also make reservations.
