This question was posed during a a discussion among staffers in the back room, and I realized I didn't know the answer.
I understand why folks living in the US or folks with ties here, such as owning real estate, might need an LLC. But why do other non-resident Brits feel they have to have an LLC before buying an RV here to ship home? Is this merely a registration issue, i.e. you can register the vehicle(s) in Montana, taking advantage of their lower registration fees? Or are there other issues that dictate forming an LLC?
