we are considering buying a new class B sprinter-possibly an LTV, Great West or Roadtrek. We don't want to make a mistake in our offer.
Autos have easily searched invoice prices but I can't seem to locate anything that would help us in the RV world.
NADA has high and low but nothing about invoice pricing which would be helpful when we make our offer.
We have never purchased an RV--many boats but no RV. Help if you can.

The general rule of thumb with RVs is to offer 25-30% less than the MSRP and see what you can negotiate. Less expensive/smaller rigs probably don't have as much margin as larger ones and may not discount that much, but it's a place to start. Some dealers won't go below 10-14% discount, but if you are willing to travel and shop around you should do better than that.

Look around on the internet - dealers who advertise online will sometimes give quotes that way too. That way you can find out what they are thinking and set your sights somewhat lower.

And don't be embarrassed to make a low offer. You can always raise it.
