Hi, now in Taos for Aug. & Sept. 1800 miles from Brooksville and we averaged 200 miles a day ( we're old & slow ), tried to cruise at 55 mph, does help as we were getting 8 miles per gallon with gen. set running much of the time! Leaving mucho stuff behind we travelled lighter but miss my ladder and drill. Toured Questa, Red River.Eagle Nest and Angel Fire. The famous Vietman Vetrans Memorial is a must for anyone who was saddened by this conflict . Started by a father who lost his son, it is fantastic and heart jerking. A "Ride To The Wall" is an annual event by thousand's of bikers who are drawn here by memories and feelings.
