Question about front hitches for bikes and scooters

I have a 2004 class C Itasca.  I have a class 2 hitch on the back which currently holds a cargo platform.  I was wondering if anyone has used a front hitch for 2 bikes and what type of hitch should I be looking for.  I am looking for recommendations, experiences.  Also, Can I use a front hitch to attach a scooter?
