If you are in the area that will be probably affected by this BIG storm, please evacuate ASAP!!! Having experienced hurricane weather while living in southeastern Florida, we know how dangerous these storms are. Please be safe!!

Gustav is on track to hit New Orleans just like Katrina 3 years ago.  This web site has all of the forecasts, advisories and graphics from nearly all of the forecast centers on one long page.  It's an excellent place to track tropical weather.
 
Thanks for the link,(Bearpaws), Ned.  I didn't know it existed. It's now in my Bookmark.

  We seem to be safe at the moment, but are keeping a vigilant eye on the Gustav, as well as Hanna.

There are some great parts of the country where you don't get hurricanes and you don't have to shovel snow.  Like Wendy if it is a choice between exposure to possible hurricanes or snow I'll take the snow.
