Woooo Whoooo! My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and she bought it. It?s the newest version of the Canon SX100 IS. This is almost exactly what I want in a camera to take on our 13 day trip to Egypt next March. It is an advanced point and shoot with a long 10X zoom, it will fit in my pocket, uses AA batteries, and doesn?t cost an arm and a leg (in case it?s lost, stolen, or confiscated). It?s almost perfect for our Egypt trip, the only thing that it doesn?t have is a viewfinder.
