Hi all: I am leaving for Calgary, AB in the morning to retrieve my coach that lost its engine. I paid the invoice yesterday via direct wire transfer. The exchange rate helped out and saved me $4,000 in US funds. A couple of months ago that would not have been the case.
I will fly up and have to button up my bedroom access to the engine. They wanted to charge me over $600 to do that. I plan to depart Calgary on Tuesday morning and hope to reach Sams Camp in Lewistown that night. Depends on how I have to drive the coach during break-in. If I don't make it, I'll see Sam and Ron on the following day. The route home will pretty much avoid the mountains, except in Montana and those won't be too bad. I will probably arrive in Dallas on Saturday or Sunday. Not going to push it.
I'll try to give reports along the way.
