Veterans Day now free at National Parks

If you show some kind of military ID for Veteran active or retired, including disabled, you can get into parks free on Veterans Day.
 
If you're a disabled veteran, you can get a Golden Access card that will get you into the parks for free all the time.

You can get a free dinner at Golden Corral restaurants on Veterans Day.

Yes, Golden Corral, but they are usually so crowded it's silly!  Here's another one few know about, and since you make reservations, it's much less crowded.  McCormick and Schmick's:
