Am looking for a fold up ladder thats compact and lite weight and around 12 feet long to carry around in an RV.

Camping World carries a number of good ladders that take little space, however your need for 11 feet make the search more difficult.

This one goes up to about 9 1/2 feet http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/aluminum-extension-ladder/19839

I have a 10 or 11 foot telescoping ladder (The same type you linked to) and though it won't put me on the roof (my other ladder does that) It sure is handy And inside the motor home it takes up exactly NO space, since the place I store it can not be sued (normally) but after a couple of you will never see them less you bring a screwdriver modifications... It fits perfectly

I have a telescoping. Stores in very little space. also the expanding step ladder, great for the windshield screens.

Thanks for the info everyone. Sounds like the 14' 1400T will do the job. Just extend what you need, works for me.

Remember one thing about that telescoping job.. When you only want 10 feet, you leave the top 4 feet collasped
To shorten it back down you just stand it up, and CAREFULLY pull a pair of rings under the bottom step on the ladder
IT then falls in upon itself, very neat
