Phil said:If momma's not happy, ain't nobody happy.
The thing is, I'm not happy about having a lady turn left in front of me. I'm not happy that I still hurt. I'm not happy that we lost the GMC Envoy we so dearly enjoyed. I'm not happy our "new" 05 car costs more than we got for the loss. I'm not happy that we had a schedule and very little time to make an auto selection.
On the other hand Terry selected a great vehicle and even took me on a test drive (but I was still on major meds.) I don't even recall much of the ride. I am happy that the base plate was installed today and we hope to pick up the car tomorrow. I am happy that Terry handled the selection, insurance, ordering tow equipment and kept in touch with the wrecking yard so we can retrieve our personal belongings tomorrow as well. I am happy that he does as many jobs as I want him or need for him to do. It has all just worked out but I am still not yet in any mood to be jovial about any aspect of the process. I'm sure time will mellow that but there has been not too much fun about this process for either of us.
The thing about being retired and traveling is that you don't have a job to complain about so life's stumbling blocks really stand out!
