We own a 1997 Holiday Rambler Endeavor. We are looking to remove the carpet in the living room and bedroom. Although  we do not plan on removing the bed , we know we need to remove the front seats, couch and swivel recliner. Our question is, Where do you remove the furniture to? Does it fit through the door? We haven't actually measured, perhaps that would help!!! ;)

Thanks,
Bernie of steveandbernie

When we remodeled our coach, they took the sofabed apart to get it out the door; See this photo. The new recliner we bought fitted through the door with a bit of juggling.

We've had all the furniture out of our 1997 Endeavor at one time or another and it all went through the door.  The couch may require a bit of disassembly, but the chairs fit easily.  The front seats come off the pedestals, then the pedestals unbolt from the floor.

We replaced all the carpet in our coach with laminate.

Couch comes out after disassembled as will J seat.  Like Ned indicated drivers passenger chairs and come off the pedestal.

How do they come off of the pedestal..my 92 bounder with the Flexsteel seats need a little TLC, and it would be easier if I could remove them from the Pedestal..

Usually there are bolts or machine screws inserted from the underside that can be removed, allowing the chairs to come off the pedestals.

The electric seats are a bit different but it's pretty clear once you look at the pedestal and seat from underneath.  The manual seats are just 4 bolts.

If you remove the seat pedastals, make sure that the bolts will be long enough to reinstall them. Sometimes the height of the new material will not let the bolts extend enough to get the nuts back on. In some coaches, the bolts are self tapping and we have had to get longer bolts. FYI

If the job is being done indoors you may find that removing the windshield makes things easier. A mobile glass shop can remove it and return at a later date to replace it.
