Tom:

I just checked your album; now you've started something! Here is a photo of our 1983 34' Pace Arrow that we owned for 16 years and drove 113,000 miles. I can't tell you all the great memories we have of trips in the Pace. :-X It was nicknamed the Taj (Taj Mahal) because of all the room we had with three kids after moving up from our second m/h, a 1970 21' Glastron.

Wendy - I luv the Bug.  What year? I'm guessing '72.  After having restored two myself ('65 and a black '68), I really wanted one as a toad.  The other half was adamant against it, wanting a little more comfort, A/C and 4 doors.  My head still turns at any and all old bugs - I salivate a nice black ones like yours.

Good eye BT. It is a 72. We bought it 3 weeks before we left for the winter figuring it would be easier to tow than the Explorer/dolly, and it is. Although Mike brought all his tools with him so he can work on it on the road. We're enjoying it but it seems to be smaller than the '72 bug we had when we were in our 20s....or maybe we're just bigger? BTW, the bug is actually a dark burgundy cooler. I thought it was chocolate brown when we bought it.
