Can anyone comment on the quality/reliability of Itasca DP coaches?

We are looking at the Meridian model.

Thanks!
Darrell

I have the Winnebago Journey. I think the Meridian is an upgraded version of the Journey. Mine is an '04 model so long term reliability is yet to be determined. No big problems so far, just minor stuff that every new coach of every make seems to have.  It's been back to the dealer for fixes a couple of times for leaking hydraulics in the jacks and slides.  Those systems are made by HWH and are common on many of the brands you would look at as alternatives to the Meridian.

Itasco is a Winnebago brand and are essentially twins of the Winnebago models except for trim and perhaps a few standard amenities. Both are major, mid-range brands and have many, many happy owners.  That doesn't mean there is not the occasional lemon - all the brands seem to have them - but most are solid performers.
