When we first used our Itasca Sunrise, the ticking of the clock attached to the center top storage over the dinette was driving us crazy. So we decided to remove that clock. After all we're supposed to relax and not check a clock all the time and we both have a watch.

But since that time we've had an opening that has a board covered with upholstery material and behind it an entire compartment that we cannot access. So we would love to find a door which would match the two on either side.

How do we go about finding a door like that? Does Winnebago somewhere have a "door heaven" where all replaced doors go and from where we can order one??

You would be shocked what Lichtsinn Winnebago can get for your motorhome.  They are located right next door to Winnebago, and there are lots of us happy customers recommending their parts department.  They sold me a matching oak door for our '05 Sightseer that matched perfectly!  :)  You will need to give them the VIN for your motorhome when you call.

Elly - the best source for inexpensive parts, woodwork, furniture used to the factory surplus store which is unfortunately closed.  You could hire a local cabinetmaker or woodworker friend to make a door.  Alternatively, there are about three surplus stores in the Elkhart, Indiana area two of which are quite large.  We haven't been to the Coburg, Oregon area but there are bound to be surplus stores there as well.
