Would like to know best way to hook generator up to 2006 everest 5th wheel

Some 5ers were pre-wired for generators...yours may be. If not, I just use my regular power hookup cord and plug it into my portable generator. Make sure the gen is in an area that the exhaust fumes can't get into the trailer. I have also seen some gens mounted in the pickup bed, especially those a little too heavy to haul, starting with the 3000 units. Some people had the gen wired in direct and some used their trailer power cords.

Depends on the Generator   If you are speaking of a portable generator then many RV stores have some adapters that fit between the TWIST LOCK outlet on most generators and either a 30 or 50 amp RV power cord
