I need to order one day/night shade for the bedroom in the MH.  Where is the best place to order them (other than a RV dealer)?

Any special color requirement?

Here are some sources but have never used them or even compared pricing:

Thanks, Gary.  I knew a couple of them, but just wondered if anyone had a specific preference.  Trying to install this particular one will be a real challenge.

What color and size?  I have 2 that you can have for shipping.  I don't recall color or size but will look for them if  you are interested at all.  We used the for about a year before we replaced them.

sheltie, I'm having the same issue - one of our day/night blinds has a broken string and is a little beat up anyway.  I've found several close matches on eBay.  Search for "day night blinds" and "day night shades" as most of them are listed one of those two ways.  Very inexpensive in many cases, as in this ended auction where a $4 set didn't even receive a single bid.  Not a huge demand out there.  The trick is finding the exact size you need to match.

James, if the OP does not need your leftovers - would you mind letting me know the size of the blinds you have?  Thanks.  :)

We had to restring our shades. I bought a spool of carpet thread. This material is so strong only major chaffing will make it fail. Ernie

Thanks for the offer, but my MH is in storage and I won't be able to get to it for a couple of weeks or more to take measurements.  I noticed that someone else was interested, so if it fits them, I "relinquish" my "right" to them.

OK,  I finally got up in the garage and pulled the shades down.  They are 38" wide by 32" high, color is pearl in the day and sapphire for the night.  That translates in male colors to white and blue!!!

There are no mounting brackets included but they are available from the manufacturer or most RV shops.

Let me know if either of you want them, let me know.

Jim,

I actually made a trip to the MH to measure and my window is 30"w x 36" high so I'm afraid yours won't fit.  Thanks for the offer.

Denny

I just replaced our pull down blind with 1" blinds, and no teal/eggshell crap for me, I bought plain jane white, at a building material store that was going out of business, for 2 dollars, and they fit perfect, look great, the wife loves them.
