I have an appointment to have a lube and oil change this coming Wed. This afternoon I went to my 34hd Journey and under the bed I pulled off the steel plate cover over the engine. I wanted to be somewhat knowledgable where this Zirk fitting was. The only way to see in that area is with a mirror and flashlight. I bet it took more than 10 or so minutes to find that little devil.
Anyway I am primed with my downloaded lube chart to give the tech. as a throwaway when he's finished. Got the bed cover loose to slide out, but he just may need an extension on his lube gun to reach it.
Anyway I want a hand lube gun to get at this bugger. I have one that has the flex extension but maybe a rigid type would be better.
So what do all of you use. What type grease also?
