If I have my TT in storage for a while and I just want to recharge the battery, do I need a 35 amp power source?  Or can I just plug into a 15 amp source at home with an adapter plug?  Has anyone had experience with the solar battery chargers?

thanks,
Jake

If the only load is the battery charger, then a 15 or 20 amp. circuit will be adequate.  If your TT is outdoors, you could also use a small solar panel and regulator to keep the battery charged while in storage.  A 48 watt panel should be sufficient.

Ned,
Thanks for the information.  I do store it outside in the Arizona sun so maybe a solar panel to keep the battery up might be the way to go.  I will look into solar and in the meantime, get an adapter plug to hook up the 35 amp connection.

If you do get a solar panel, be sure to get a regulator too so you don't overcharge.  Easy to do with all the sun in AZ :)
