Custom Chassis Products LLC, the joint venture of Navistar & Monaco that produces the Roadmaster RV chassis, filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy on Tuesday. Hardly surprising, since Monaco is their only chassis customer and Monaco has NOT produced any new coaches in months. Pundits wonder if this may throw a money wrench in the deal for Navistar's Workhorse Chassis subsidiary to buy Monaco and restart the business. Navistar has made no comment about either the Monaco purchase or the Roadmaster bankruptcy.
