My wife and I are looking to get a late 70's vinitage motorhome, have found a couple of Itasca's that look like good deals, but can't find much info on the 70's models.  I think part of the problem is that when I search for Itasca Suncruiser, I get all the newer model information.  So easy question, those that have them or have had them, good motorhomes or full of problems?

Thanks for any insight.

about the only 70's motorhomes I see anymore still driving down the road
are the late 70's GMC's.
check this link for info on those - http://motor-caravan.com/GMC_Motorhome.htm
have fun and happy hunting!

I have a 1974 Dodge Rockwood 22 footer that is hitting the highway on Friday! we had to totally rebuild the camper part due to water issues.

This would be the biggest issue for any older RV. none of the older units had rubber roofs, sealing around windows and vents were at times non existent.
and of course most units will have had many owners. which means many hands "customizing" the wiring , plumbing etc.

At the moment when I turn the radio/cd player on the Dome light flashes in time to the music. :)

Good luck and unless you are handy avoid anything "with a bit of water damage"
