We are currently looking for a tent trailer and I saw one advertised with heated mattresses and bed fans.

What exactly are those?

Would that be like a mattress cover that you would slip on over a regular bed mattress?  Or do they actually make such a  thing as heated mattresses.

And what are bed fans?

Thank you

Vicky

Our heated Queen size mattress pad is a LIFESAVER when we take our motorhome to Breckenridge at Christmas yearly (low temps of 0F, highs of 25F).....We like it MUCH better than a heated blanket.  :)

Yes...you just slip it over the mattress, and the top has heating elements in it.

The bed fans I have seen are small fans mounted in the corner of the sleep area to circulate air. It gets amazingly stuffy in that canvas cubbyhole and a fan is a big help. However, you can carry your own small fan and rig it up too. The built in ones are just a bit more convenient.
