It's official - there were no other bidders for Fleetwoods motorhome business so AIP 's bid was accepted by the bankruptcy court on 6/24. The first post-sale comments from both companies are included in the article linked below. Perhaps the most important thing to current & prospective owners is that AIP has agreed to assume the existing warranty liability, which would appear to mean that any previously produced Fleetwood coach will retain whatever warranty coverage it has left. No official news on new production, re-hiring workers, etc. yet. There are some rumors on a Fleetwood employees blog site, but they have not been very accurate in the past and do not bear repeating here.
