This is my first post so please bear with me. I recently purchased a Winnebago Elandan 1989.  The generator had not been run for some time.  After cleaning the carb and new points, condensor, coil, plugs and wires it will run. However, when it gets hot it will start but not stay running.  On reading several sources I have come across the fact that the low oil pressure switch may be the cause of this. On checking the oil level i found that it very high. It may be diluted with gasoline, most likely.  My question is:  Can the diluted oil cause the oil pressure to be low?
