I plan to use my Hummer as a toad does anyone know if just putting it in netural will be ok and add a braking system

The Remco Towing web site will help answer the question if it's towable. Click the 'Application charts' button and enter the make, model and year. With most 4WD vehicles, you merely put the transfer case in neutral, but check the owners manual for the correct procedure.
