I have a 2008 winnebago access, which I believe has a fiberglass roof and plywood underneath. How would I mount a thule rack sytem on it?
What I'd like to do is put the slider rails on it so I can adjust the spacing between crossbars easily to accomadate the thule boxes or stand-up paddle boards or surf boards. Someone recomended wood screws, but would vibration spell trouble for that? The instructions (which i could view on line but i havent purchased the system yet) show a bolt-through with an anchor on the otherside, but I wouldn't know how to do that on the motor home.
Do I need to obtain a roof diagram from winnebago so I know where to avoid for roof mounting? Is roof mounting a labor intensive thing?
thanks,
Ken
