If the kids want to be in the bunk beds and watch only one dvd disc(one Movie) will both of the dvd players be able to show the same movie?  Hope I asked the questions ok.  Thanks
 
No, they are complete independent systems.  The only way to have one disc shown on both screens would be to run a component cable (red, white, yellow) from the player with the disc, to the video input connection on the other unit.
 
On our 2009, I think one DVD can be played on both screens. I'm not sure how to do it, but the kids know. I'll ask if it's important.
