I have minimal experience with Eternabond... I'm currently re-doing all the seams in my roof with it.
I must say it's an incredibly strong product. Once it's on, if done properly, it shouldn't come off... ever.
Expensive, sure, but probably the best way to never have to do it again.

Eternabond is a great product and should do the job fine. Also, a new product has just been found and is worthy of consideration - see this discussion:
