Is it possible to capture an image from Google Earth and attach it to a forum message ?  Size too large?

Yes it is Jim, but the file size needs to be within our 250Kb limit. Or you can just post a link to the image into a message.

You can do a "print screen" with it up and that will put a screen shot on your clipboard. Open up Paint or some other photo editor and paste it as a new image. You can adjust the size if you need to but I'd think that just saving it as a jpg would be small enough.

I open .jpgs in GraphicConverter and save as email, selecting an appropriate size. The only problem is that Mail changes the carefully crafted label into a mess.

Google Earth images can be saved directly as jpg files (File|Save|Save Image); I just tried one and the file size was only 120Kb, but file size would vary with detail in the image of course.
