Gas volume sufficient to Hot water to run propane heater?

I have a 2004 Adventurer 33V and I am considering adding a wall mounted propane heat unit just to the right of the door as you enter the motorhome. Do you suppose teeing off of the water heater gas line would run the water heater and the propane heat?
 
What is the size of the line where you would Tee?  It typically starts out as black pipe of decent size and finishes as copper tubing to reach individual appliances. Would the tee be on the main pipe or on the copper feed to the heater?
