Starcraft R/T freshwater issues
« on: September 04, 2009, 06:03:39 AM »
I have borrowed my buddies Starcraft R/T to take to the lake.  While loading and doing my checks, I flushed the fresh water system and then tried to use the sink.  I turned the water pump on and it pushes water out of the freshwater hookup on the exterior instead of through the faucets.  I have looked everywhere and turned every valve I have found with no success.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Is there a valve on the pump used for winterizing the trailer that is closed? The valve would be around a cap which is taken off when winterizing. Possibly your problem

The freshwater connector may well have a plastic check valve in it.   Occasionally the things get misaligned.  Look for it and genty try free it with a small screwdriver until it moves easily back and forth on its springed shaft.

This may not be your problem but it is quick and cheap enough to try.   8)
