2-3 miles inland from Reedsport along the river is a meadow frequented by elk. I went there late this afternoon and found a bull near the road, very unconcerned about the traffic, and 15 others back near the trees and only partially visible. The 4th pic is a blowup of the background behind the resting bull.
I am staying at Winchester Bay marina CG through Thursday night and then heading south.
