Where is the cigarette lighter fuse?
« on: October 02, 2009, 12:26:24 PM »
I just bought a 1991 GMC Vandura 2500 and almost everything works fine except for the 4 cigarette lighters. I don't smoke but I do need them to charge my cell phone, laptop, shaver and GPS. I can't figure out where the fuse for them is. I have looked at every fuse in the fuse block under the dash. I have checked the wires at the receptacle for power and it is dead. I have looked for inline fuses. Anyone have a clue as to where the fuse would be located? I also have no power to the four overhead spotlights and I don't know if that is related.

I had the same problem with my 07 Southwind.  I finally phoned the company and they told me where to find it, wasn't even listed in the owners manual.  Mine was in the cupboard under the bathroom sink.  I know some MH's have a fuse box near the fridge.   I'm sure someone in here knows, you should hear back soon.
