A large flock of pelicans hangs out in and feeds at be Brookings Oregon harbor. They really like to feed among the docked boats in the marina. Probably easier because the water surface is smooth. They do have to put up with mobs of thieving gulls.

Saw my second green flash there last night and ALMOST caught in with the camera. This time I set the camera to continuous burst. Unfortunately the flash was very dim and you need imagination to see the very faint green.

You WERE in Brookings!  I should have known.  :D  (Disregard my earlier message.)

It was easy for me to imagine, having known you all these years, that you could have put the pedal to the metal and wound up in Utah!  :D
