I have an "82 Scamper pop up. I believe the lift arms are original equipment. When raising or lowering the roof, it will fall backward or forward and wobbles all over. The roof feels very heavy also. It takes all that my wife and myself can do to raise or lower this roof. If I replace the arms and springs, will this task become easier? These are the exposed type square metal frames with a spring inside.
