20091014 Wed. Did a day trip by Jeep up to San Jose to visit Pennings Chris is still hobbling about and cheerful about it. He expects to be travel worthy for Indio.
20091015 thurs. Best weather so far mid 70s, sunny, light breeze. Enjoyed the coast in Pacific Grove. Saw a pod of dolphin (binoculars) about a mile out milling about and jumping. Went down to Pt Lobos, but they wanted $10.00 for a day pass!
Driving down to Buellton Friday for an 8 nite stay and datastorm user rally.
The pics are from the Monterey aquarium using the iPhone handheld. They include a leafy sea dragon - a foot long, seahorse, jellyfish and the big deep water tank with big tuna, a 6 ft white shark, barracuda, mahi-mahi, baitfish and all very dimly lit!
