Dinette to Bunk Bed
« on: November 30, 2009, 07:48:34 PM »
I've seen dinettes that turn into a bed, but i'm looking for a dinette that could turn into a bunk bed...Does such a thing exist?

I guess I have led a sheltered life cause I haven't seen one of those. BUT- you could have a piece of plywood and a foam matteress and put that on top of the backrests.  As long as nobody sits up on the lower bunk~

I too have never seen a dinette that turned into a bunk. Bunkbeds on Class A's, other than on Ultra Luxury Class Buses, for the most part, seem to have only been around in the last 5 years. Originally, the ones I saw were bunkbeds only; some of the newer versions I've seen are bunkbeds that can be turned into storage only when the kids or grandkids aren't traveling. I think it's a great idea and hope that manufactures offer more floorplans in the future with bunks...
