I recently purchased a 99 Chieftain diesel. Has anyone determined what is the best speed for the most MPG? So far, I have driven between 60 and 65 and get a little better than 10 MPG. However, I find it shifts down into fifth gear fairly often. RPM at that speed is about 1750. Anyone experimented with this?
