A big thanks Ron. I'll get them into the photo album shortly. Just curious - what does "aircraft" in the file names stand for?

People in shorts - Wow !

I was also thinking that "aircraft" was an interesting file name for pictures of RVs?

The photos are now in the album here. If someone recognizes their rig and it's not labeled in the album, please reply here and let me know which one is yours. Thanks.

More photos would be welcome  Wink

That's my old Bounder in the previous post.

BTW - I drove with that curtain pulled over the windshield all the way down I-95.  I certainly didn't want to see an accident like Gary had last week.  We are having a blast (and Jane and I just got here about 2pm).  Much fun yet to be had.

Looks like fun (which makes us feel even worse about missing out)!

We did manage a small sample of the rally, though.  Dave & Jeanette Reavis drove 50 miles this morning to meet us for lunch in Yemassee, SC, as we drove south on I95 towards home. We had an hour of fun conversation and Nancy & Jeanette congratulated each other on beating the cancer bugaboo. Sorry I forgot to get a photo of that, but we were pressed for time.

Nancy & I are safe at home in Florida tonight. [sigh]. Found out my cable internet modem had died while we were away. Won't even power up. Brighthouse is bringing a new one Friday afternoon. Meanwhile I'm getting by with our Verizon cell modem, which doesn't have much signal to work with out here in the Ocala Nat'l Forest where we live.

Frank and Dave cleaned the pavilion. Which made for a much more enjoyable happy hour. A very big thanks to them.  Ray stepped up to the plate at happy hour and got us organized. A big thanks to him. We will continue to follow the game plan Gary and Nancy laid out. And our resident photographer, Ron, as you can see, has taken some great shots.

We miss you Gary and Nancy, and we will try to make you proud. We'll raise one at our pulled pork supper tonight in your honor.

Keep safe

I am looking at the picture and am wishing we could have made the Rally, it looks like a lot of fun.  I see that Dale and Karen did make it, please make sure they have a good time as I almost broke their arms convincing them to adjust their schedule to take it in.  BTW, Jeff & Dale, no low flying in your rigs, go rent a crop duster if the urge arises.

Enjoy  Grin

Thanks for the list, Jeff. I thought I recognized you in the "solving world problems" picture.

Thanks for the pics, Ron. Looks like everyone's having a good time. I'm so envious of y'all wearing shorts.

Keep on having fun.

Tonight 22 people tried to eat 12 pounds of Lou's outstanding NC smoked pulled pork. The good news for all of you who missed it is that if you start driving NOW you might get here in time to help us finish it at the pot luck Saturday night. Grin Grin

Jim Miles and I played golf at Patriot Point today and it was a glorious day.  Several in the group went into town for carriage rides.  No pictures till dinner, so I added a few below.   Dinner was terrific.

Sue knew Nancy would have some decorations. So in honor of memories and tradition, she bought some pumpkins. And we carved them.

Last night we have a very successful Pork pot luck. We had a variety of side dishes. All the food groups were covered. And the pork was excellent.

This afternoon a group of us took a scenic drive to Edistow beach for a light lunch. Which left us with a yearning for a afternoon nap.

p.s. Jeanette looks wonderful.

Thanks to all who pitched in to help make the rally a success  Cool , despite the absence of the hosts.  Cry

Sorry we missed meeting some of you - putting faces and personalities with names is one of the top reasons for attending a rally (unless you are underweight and need to add 10 lbs quickly).

I'm sorry Tom no photos. We had Jeanette & Dave with us. I was too busy laughing at Dave's jokes.  I'm ribs are killing me. What a great time we had.

While I've been talking with attendees, I've inquired about where they are originally from, and where they live now.

Members are originally from Germany, US, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland.  And current residency include Arizona, Alberta, Florida, North & South Carolina, and South Dakota. Rallies are a great place to meet other rv'ers and share experiences.

We had 12 for dinner tonite. And of course we had a great time. I think Ron took some pics. The guys cook breakfast tomorrow.

oh my... more food
