Fascinating mosaic

That's amazing!!  I've never seen anything like that, and I'll bet you're right that they didn't use photoshop to do that.  Question is, how did they do it.  Thanks for that link.

Actually they could have done that in Photoshop in the sense that they created an image size and then added all the smalller images (which also might have been sized in Photoshop).  Great job however they did it.

Pretty neat. 

The pixels are not embedded images, however.  Seems they have an algorithm that takes an image and converts to individual pixel images on the fly.  In other words, they probably selected several thousand images to use for specific color variations and then used those images intelligently (by computer) to make up each other image thus creating an endless loop.
