Can't read flasihng 2" x 4" info screen

HELP - I cannot read the little 2" x 4" info screen even on hands and knees at eye level, let alone while driving. Is there any way to stop the flashing? It's not a generational thing - I've had young folks with eagle eyes and they can't read it either.

What "2"x 4" info screen", and where is this screen/what is it on?   ...most flashing messages stop if you take care of whatever the problem is...
