Have any of you used a '97-02 Ford Escort (with stick) as a toad?  I had a '98 Escort sedan that I really loved, and still have its owner's manual, which indicates those with a stickshift can be towed four down.  I'm considering buying another Escort for use during the week as a work car and on trips as a toad, and would love to know if anyone has experience with towing those, the equipment you added (if any) and whatever other advice you could give.
