Skamper camper

ANyone have info on this camper? On the way to a friends house I see an old SKamper camper just sitting there, I am thinking of building an camper off an old truck I have. Is it possible to get spares, can they take a wee bit off offroading, or just for highway use? I think its an early to mid 80`s model, by the look off it. I shall get some photos next time I pass by.
ANy known weaknesses?

Skamper was bought out by Thor Industries in the mid-90's and Thor chose not to continue the brand.  That kinda limits any "factory source" for parts.  There are, however, websites devoted to the Skamper brand and that might be a good place to look/inquire about parts availability.

Relative to the off-roading, I don't know for sure.  My gut feel would be NOT to take it off-road due to its age, construction, and the flexing it will see on uneven terrain.
