Where to find good deals and cheap loan rates???

 I'm buying used and the price range I'm needing to be in will put me in a  1998-2002 35'-38' pusher w/ 30,000 miles or so. When buying used, what are some key things to look for other than cond, motor, trans, tires.... Anything I need to ask the owner or salesman. What mfgr's are good or bad?

Also where are you guys finding good deals on RV's and good loan rates?

The first thing you might want to do is check out our library and the resources we have on here; both are accessible by clicking the appropriate button on the top of the screen.  We have a "check list" of things to inspect when buying an RV.

You'll find a huge variety of opinions on various manufacturers; and basically you get what you pay for.   There is usually a low end model (entry level) and a high end model for most brands.  People buy mostly according to what they plan to use the RV for and how much they plan to use it.

Large dealers with a regional or national market can and will "deal" more than smaller local ones. Shop the internet for prices, unless you are convinced you need to buy near home.

Loan rates you will have to shop for, since every person and every deal is different. The outfit that offers good rates on one transaction might be worst on another. They all have profiles they follow and sometimes your deal doesn't fit into an advantageous category but shopping another lender will.

Dealers seldom offer the best rate right off the top, but will often match any rate you can get elsewhere. Get some quotes online (just Google RV Financing for dozens of places) and challenge the dealer to match it if you want to finance there. Also, if he asks what rate you are looking for, don't hesitate to give him a lowball. The online finance sources are good ones - they will still handle all the paperwork with the dealer.
