"KNEE" on drivers side slide

On my Journey there is a "KNEE" that sorta protects the electrical wiring when the slide is extended.
When closed this apperatus looks to be very low to the ground. Has this caused anyone any problems?

Nope, my Meridian has the same device.  After 30,000+ miles it has never been an issue.  Plus it's not as low as it looks when there is air in the bags and you are travel ready.
