FYI, WorkhorseService.com sells BOSCH calipers for the W-20/W-22 Chassis with STEEL pistons for those that want to replace the OEM Bosch Calipers with Phenolic pistons. The guy's name is Buddy Gamel, and seems like he knows all the info about the recall and the phenolic vs. steel pistons.
Here is a reply from an email I sent him this morning:
All the calipers we stock are genuine Bosch calipers. They have steel pistons. The problem is if your calipers are replaced and the coach is not driven on a regular basis problems can return. The problem is not the type of pistons in the calipers but the fact , with a few exceptions, that the coaches having problems are sitting still for extended lengths of time and moisture is getting in the brake fluid and on the parts concerned.
If you have a W22 chassis it will come under the brake recall campaign when it is issued regardless whether your calipers have been previously changed or not.
If I can help in any way please let me know.
