As we have finally started our remodel, and started taking pictures of our work, it is time to start posting some pictures. We hope to be done with the project by March so that we can move into our motor home full time for about 6 months. Hope you all enjoy, provide feedback and advice, and ask any questions you like. Here are a couple of before pictures.

Heres the disaster we call our motor home right now. Lets just hope we can get it all back together. Also, we found some water damage that caused us a bit of a set back.

Thanks for posting the photos and hope you will keep them coming. The Limited is a grand coach, forerunner to the American Coach line at Fleetwood. I'm happy to see you are going to make her into a proud lady once again.

We really love our old girl. We know there is a lot to do and it may not be done right away but well do what we can. We got her near 100% functional now, just need to make her look and feel a bit more like home. Here are a few more updatd pics.

Would like to talk off line with you about your experience.  We have a 1999 Country coach in very good condition (I think)  but we need to update the cosmetic appearance.  Would like to find out what you are doing about floors.  We want to get rid of the carpet and add more storage.

We are fortunate to have a real flooring guru on this forum - Ernie Ekberg.  Ernie is in the RV flooring business (both mobile and at his Weatherford, TX home base) but is also free with his advice and counsel.

Gary is correct. If there is any way that I can give you some guidance, just ask away. If you would like some ideas as to what can be done to a coach, check out my website and look in the photo section. I have before, during and after photos in many albums. I'm going to Quartzite and am currently just north of Phoenix. Thanks, Ernie

We haven't got that far yet but we do intend to remove all of our carpet with some very small amount at the front for the driver and passenger. The rest we are going with armstrong crescendo vinyl tiles throughout. This involves removing some carpeting that has been run up some of the walls and the parquette wood floor in the kitchen. We intend to space the tiles and use the grout to give it a more realistic look of tile flooring. As soon as the walls are finished we will head back into working the floor. Heres some pictures of the tile we are using.

Thanks a lot for providing the forum your expertise. The only uncertainty we have is how to finish of the entry. I have looked at the newer models and the mthod of finsihing but still have not come to a conclusion. Our most recent thought was to use the rubber backed entry carpet for the entire area. But after checking out your website, thank you very much, we really love the way you used the copper in one of your jobs. It looked great. Any recomendations would be great, especially when it comes to methods of instalation.

Thanks, got a bit acomplished today. No pictures unfortunately. Not much to take pictures of today. Got all of my walls primered and ready for painting tomorrow and with luck will start to work on the floor. As soon as my eternabond arrives, I will be installing my new vents wich I look forward to. Finish up with the blinds and get the couch and dinette back from the upholstery shop. Shes gonna look and feel great.

Ok, got some pictures today. I know I love seeing pictures in posts so very important. Today we got a alot acomplished. We got the walls painted and most of the staplesout of the floor. For anyone doing floors, definitely be prepared for a real job just getting these staples out. I have been using a staple remover and a pair of pliers to remove them. The worst part is the ones that break off. what a pain. Anyway, more to come.

That is really looking nice, good job.

It's supposed to warm up here next week, we are itching to get back at it, your pictures are making us want to even morese.  Hope we can.

Thanks. Its been frigid here as well. Been about 25 degress the last week overnight and baely warming to 40's during the day. Its not suppose to get that cold here in southern Georgia. Anyhow, we still have a long way thats for sure. I got the cabinet re-installed tonight and rewired. Doesnt sound like much but that thing weighed like 100lbs and was a real joy to put back in. Not to mention the 15 wires going in and out of the thing. But I did get it done and it didnt start on fire when I started it back up, and everything worked. No pictures today though. I did recieve my eternabond tape today so Ill be able to install me vents soon and ensure my roof is water tight. Ill post more pics very soon.

I got to install one of three new vents last night. I went with the Fan-Tastic vents. Here are a couple of pictures of the install. Now that I have installed one the other two should be a snap.

Well working hard on the floor getting it ready for tiling. Final task was to remove carpet from tile. Whos idea is it to put carpet in the bathroom anyways? And especially around the toilet. Anyways, tons of staples here and of course the oder from the black tank. At some pointI will have to figure out what kind of sealing ring for the toilet this thing takes. Any know this? So, we also ordered our light fixtures and some bathroom fixtures as well. These are going to look great and we cant wait till they arive. Wish us luck.

Looks like you are really handy like my husband is.  Good job. Gives you a real feel of accomplishment doesn't it.

We are hoping to get back on ours, supposed to get in the high 60's a couple of days this week, so here's hoping.

Thanks, we sure do try and we make a good team. Today we tackled the tile head on and made good progress. Here are a couple of pictures.
